About Family Office Summit India 2014

The Association of International Wealth Management of India (AIWMI), proudly presents to you the 2nd annual Family Office Summit India, scheduled on June 18, 2014 in Mumbai and June 19, 2014 in Delhi.

While early Family Offices can be traced to Europe, it was in earlier 19th century that wealthy merchants along the east coast of United States started hiring advisors to protect their family interests.  The demand for Family Office Services kept growing up over the years. Today with wealthy families mostly relying on Family Offices for full time professional management their personal fortune, USA alone has more than 4000 Single Family Offices (SFOs) with assets under management of $ 1 trillion to $ 1.2 trillion. In addition there are around 200 Multi Family Offices (MFOs) with assets under management of around $500 billon. However unlike Family Offices in US & Europe, much of India’s wealth was created in the last few decades.  India has had its unique set of problems and opportunities during this time and it is against this backdrop that the role of family office started assuming a critical role in family business. The new complexities call for better regulations as well as the need for family offices to be managed by people with strong professional capabilities.

While our inaugural Family Office Summit, held on June 25, 2013, brilliantly set up a forum for exchange of ideas among various Family Offices and Wealth Management practitioners, our 2014 Summit will look to move forward and start addressing more strategic issues ranging from asset allocation, reporting & compliance, risk management, investing beyond borders and building family wealth for the future generations.

We aspire to make Family Office Summit 2014 an insightful and prolific experience for you.

Abhijeet Joshi Abhijit Joshi, Senior Partner and CEO is one of India’s leading Corporate/M&A lawyers. He has advised Indian and multinational companies and has been involved in many of the major and noteworthy transactions over the last 20 years.

Abhijit is a qualified Solicitor in India and England. He is recipient of many accolades including being named in International Who’s Who Legal as leading lawyer for M & A in India for 2013 and 2014 and being named as M & A lawyer of the year in India for 2013 by Finance Monthly.

Aditi Shrivastava Aditi heads the Intellecap Impact Investment Network, which is India's first angel network looking to invest in for-profit businesses dedicated to creating a positive social or environmental impact. Aditi engages with HNIs, family offices and funds to bring them the most scalable and impactful young enterprises for mentoring and investment. She works closely with entrepreneurs, advising them on their investment approaches, business models and pitches.

Prior to joining Intellecap in 2011, Aditi spent over 5 years at Goldman Sachs in New York, specializing in quantitative equity research, trading and portfolio management. She also served as a board member on American India Foundation's young professional's board where she discovered a passion for the development space.

Aditi graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and is a CFA (USA) charter holder.

Aditya Gadge Aditya is the Chief Executive Officer of Association of International Wealth Management of India (AIWMI). AIWMI primarily focuses on broader and strategic role of developing a more robust and forward-looking training infrastructure for private banking and wealth management sector and to promote more active industry involvement and collaboration in training and continuing education matters.

Aditya is also currently a Member- Board of Directors at Association of International Wealth Management (AIWM), Switzerland and a Member- Advisory Board at Family Office Group, USA.

Aditya brings with him 10 years of experience in the Financial Services sector in varied disciplines like Wealth Advisory, Training, HR Consulting, Strategic Planning, Brand Building, PR, Media Planning and Buying. He is passionate about contributing towards the growth of the Indian Financial Services sector. In his last job, he was heading the Marketing & Business Development team at Financial Planning Standards Board India (FPSBI) and played a key role in enhancing the visibility of the CFP brand in the country.

Aditya has done his Masters in Human Resources, Masters in Economics and is a Certified Financial Planner. He is currently pursuing the CIWM® certification. A prolific writer, Aditya has been regularly contributing to various business, financial and education publications. Aditya is also a member of the editorial board of India Wealth Report (Clearview Financial Media) and has recently co-auothered 2 book on Credit Research.

Amitabh ChakrabortyAmitabh joined Kitara Capital in January 2010 and is responsible for Investment management of the firm, including identification, evaluation, deal execution and monitoring every investment made by the firm. An Electronics and Telecommunications engineer from Jadavpur University, Calcutta, Amitabh received his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. In addition, he has received certification and membership as a Financial Risk Manager from Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), USA and as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute, USA, besides being awarded the CFA charter from ICFAI, Hyderabad, India.

Prior to joining the Kitara family, Amitabh was the President (equity) in Religare, with overall responsibility for supervision, management and development of the company’s equity broking and research business. In the past, he has worked as the Business Head and Head of Research at Brics Securities; Kotak Securities as the head of Private Client Research; IDBI Capital Markets as the head of institutional equity business; Cazenove & Co, London, as the Director and head of research for India operations; A.F. Ferguson & Co as a management consultant; and in Gas Authority of India. He is a member of professional industry organizations such as the CFA Institute, Virginia, USA, and GARP, New Jersey, USA, course coordinator for capital market for FT-IGNOU joint curriculum, besides being the founder member of the Indian chapter of the CFA Institute, USA. Amitabh has over 25 years of work experience, including over 20 years in the financial services industry.

Amitabh pursues hobby reading history, travelogues and biographies. In his free time he loves to share knowledge taking guest lectures in business schools. Amitabh has two kids, a daughter and a son, and lives with his wife in Mumbai.

Anurag Seth Anurag Seth is a director and head of global wealth management at quant. He has 14 years of experience in private banking and wealth management businesses.

Prior to joining quant capital, he had a 11-year stint with Standard Chartered Bank as business head of wealth advisory, SCB India, focusing on managing & building the business for high net worth individuals and corporate clients. During his tenure, the bank was awarded the Best Financial Advisor Award (CNBC TV-18) and the best “Structured Product” award by Structured Product Magazine Asia. The total AUM during his tenure hit an all-time high at US$3 billion.

Anurag pursued Management from INSEAD, France and holds PGDBM from Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad and bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honors) from Sri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University.

Arpita Vinay Arpita Vinay, is a part of the founder member team to set up the Private Wealth Business at Centrum. She leads product management and proposition development for the Private Wealth business. This includes setting up New Business Opportunities, Family Office proposition for High Net Worth Individuals, Inheritance and Succession Planning and Real Estate Advisory Services.

She also runs some large and key customer relationships for the business. She has over a decade of experience in financial services across Private Clients, Wealth Management & Financial Planning Services. As part of her past roles, she has valuable experience in the areas of Banking, Customer Proposition Development, Customer segmentation and analytics , Distribution channel management, Customer experience and Strategic Planning.

Prior to joining Centrum, she was Head – Premier Proposition for HSBC where she was responsible for managing one of the largest premium banking offerings in the country. During her stint with HSBC she played a critical role in repositioning the proposition and delivery as part of the global re-launch of HSBC Premier. She was also responsible for directing sales of wealth management and banking products and was also a successful private client RM herself during her initial years with the Bank. She is an Electrical Engineer and also holds an MBA, Finance (Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi).

She is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a global forum.

Atul SinghAtul Singh is managing director and head of wealth management business for Merrill Lynch in India. In this role, he is focused on scaling up the wealth management business in India, and responsible for planning, managing and executing the strategic direction and initiatives of this business.

Prior to assuming his current role, Atul has held various management positions within the Asia wealth management business of Merrill Lynch. Most recently, he was heading the Business Development and Strategy for GWIM in Asia, and was focused on driving growth in GWIM business – across new markets, products and channels – in one of highest growth wealth markets in the world. Before this, Atul was chief operating officer for Asia and India businesses.

Prior to joining Merrill Lynch in July 2006, Atul was a principal with Booz Allen Hamilton in New York, where he advised large wealth management and wholesale banking clients on driving growth, productivity and efficiency. At Booz Allen, he has authored several thought pieces on driving growth in Wealth Management business.

Atul holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi, India where he was awarded the Presidential gold medal. He is based in Mumbai.

Benaifer Malandkar Ms. Benaifer Malandkar is the CIO of RAAY Global Investments-the family office of the Amit Patni Group, of Patni Computers. The promoter family divested their stake in May 2011 to I-Gate Corporation at $1.5 bn. She is responsible for investment management of the group including identification, evaluation, deal execution and monitoring every investment across a gamut of diverse asset classes.

A Commerce Graduate from Jai Hind College, she received her Masters in Business Administration from JDBIMS, Mumbai. Prior to joining RAAY, she has worked with firms like Citibank, ICICI Prudential AMC ,RBS and SMIFS securities in various roles gathering more than 15 years of experience in the banking, debt markets, asset management and private banking. She also held a significant position in the core strategy team at ICICI Prudential AMC and worked in varied teams across her tenure there.

She is on the board of Nirvana Venture Advisors (A Digital & Internet Venture Fund) and other companies of the group.

Dileep ChoksiMr. Dileep C. Choksi is a chartered accountant by profession and has been in practice for over 35 years. He is also qualified as a lawyer and a cost accountant. Mr. Choksi’s areas of specialization include tax advisory and litigation, the structuring of collaborations and joint ventures, executive advisory and decision support, and corporate restructuring with a focus on start-up, turnaround and change management strategies. He also advises some of India’s largest business houses on various strategic matters, including family succession and on wills and trusts.

Mr. Choksi began his career with C.C. Chokshi & Co., and was the Firm’s Managing Partner and Joint Managing Partner of Deloitte in India till 2008, before the setting up of C.C. Chokshi Advisors Pvt. Ltd. of which Mr. Choksi is the Chief Mentor. C. C. Chokshi Advisors aims to provide complete solutions for all business needs, including accounting, legal, tax and trustee and executor services through strategic alliances.

Mr. Choksi is on the Board of various companies like Arvind Limited, Hexaware Technologies Limited, ICICI Bank Limited, ICICI Home Finance Company Limited, ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Limited, and Lupin Limited. He is also a member of the Investment Committee of Aditya Birla Real Estate Fund, and an Independent Advisor of the Investment Committee of Knight Frank India Portfolio Advisory Service. He has also served as director on the Board of State Bank of India.

Mr. Choksi was also on the Advisory Board of foreign banks as well as Ex-Chairman of Banque Nationale De Paris, Bombay.

Mr. Choksi was a trustee of Child Relief and You (CRY), an organization that is dedicated to the education and welfare of underprivileged children. He is a passionate rider and a sports enthusiast.

Mr. Choksi enjoys teaching when his professional commitments allow and has contributed various papers on mergers and acquisitions, valuation of business enterprises, company law, and taxation. He has been a speaker at various seminars and conferences of professional interests organized by the Reserve Bank of India, the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Bombay Chartered Accountants’ Society, etc.

Mr. Choksi contributed in the preparation of Kanga and Palkhivala’s The Law and Practice of Income Tax (Eighth Edition) by late Mr. N.A. Palkhivala and Mr. B.A. Palkhivala.

Deepak NatrajDeepak Natraj, Fund Manager for Aarin Capital, he is the managing director at Aarin, founded by Dr Ranjan Pai (Manipal Group) and Mohandas Pai (formerly of Infosys).

Deepak started his career in 1990 with the Big Four Accounting & Consulting Firms providing audit, due diligence, transaction support and business advisory services for over a decade. In July 2000, he joined a leading global IT outsourcing major to head the M&A function. In time, Deepak also managed the pricing strategy on large outsourcing transactions, incubated a consulting team and was the first Chief Risk Officer of the company.

Under Deepak's watch, the company invested ~US$110mn in various strategic projects including the incubation of its business consulting arm, cross-border acquisition of an IT outsourcing company, several purchases of IP for the banking platform and the engineering services businesses and an outsourcing take-out deal in the financial services reporting space. Additionally, the company won the first large scale outsourcing project by a European major bank having revenue potential of over US$200mn.

Deepak conceptualized and implemented early compliance by the company with section 404 of the US Sarbanes Oxley Act, whereby the company became one of the first foreign filers outside of the US and well ahead of the mandated regulatory deadline.

In February 2008, Deepak joined a Sequoia Capital funded start-up in remote IT infrastructure management services in Chennai, India as CFO. The automated platform created by the start-up was sold in early/mid-2010.

Since July 2010, Deepak has been associated with Dr Ranjan and the Manipal Education and Medical Group. Deepak has been engaged in evaluating potential investment opportunities in Life Sciences, HealthCare and Education in India and the US. While the fund focuses on venture opportunities for direct investments, Aarin also invests as anchors in complementary areas including IT sector, listed derivatives, mid-Cap listed companies. Several of these have been conceived and set up out of the Aarin stable backed by independent founder teams.

Deepak is a Commerce Honours graduate from the University of Delhi (1986) and is a Chartered Accountant (1989).

Dinesh VaswaniDinesh Vaswani is the founder and Managing Director of Acuitas Capital Advisors, a multi-family investment office focused on advising families on their investment portfolios in India.

Dinesh has over twenty-five years’ experience both investing in and operating companies in India and the U.S. Previously, Dinesh was a Managing Director at Temasek Holdings, where he led investments in both private as well as public companies across a range of industries including infrastructure, real estate, hospitality and business process outsourcing.

Dinesh holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and a BBA cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin. He is the Chair of the Bombay Chapter of the Young President’s Organization (YPO).

Jay Jhaveri is the Head of Business Development for Asia, Wealth-X, the leading provider of qualified prospects and intelligence on ultra high net worth (UHNW) individuals. Wealth-X provides its clients with qualified prospects and intelligence on UHNWIs, along with the privately held-companies they control. Wealth-X works with 8 of the top 10 global private banks, leading educational institutions, not-for-profits and luxury brands.

Prior to joining Wealth-X, Jay was the head of World-Check in Asia. Jay established the World-Check operations and led the sales effort in the region for almost 10 years. Under his watch, the sales from Asia saw sustained growth for more than nine years (thirty-six quarters of continuous growth).

During his time at World-Check, Jay published numerous papers and his views were frequently sought by the press and academics. His articles continue to be referenced even at present. A noted speaker, Jay has addressed conferences in Asia and is considered an expert in the area of risk. World-Check was subsequently acquired by Thomson Reuters.

Before his tenure at World-Check, Jay was a professional banker for more than 12 years, eight of which were in the area of private banking. He has worked with leading European Banks in India, the UK and Singapore.
Jay holds an MBA in Finance and a BBA in Economics.

Jimmy J Parakh, is a Director on the Board of Shapoorji Pallonji Group Companies such as Forbes & Co Ltd., Afcons Infrastructure Co Ltd. and is presently an advisor to the Group. He holds a Degree in B.Com(Hons) and is also a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in India.

Mr. Jimmy Parakh joined SPCL in the year 1982 and over the last 32 years has been instrumental in shaping the growth of multiple businesses/ companies including turning around existing businesses and incubating new ventures till they have achieved critical mass. Mr. Parakh also serves as an internal coach for multiple group companies due to his in-depth knowledge of the group, financial structuring expertise and very strong relationships with bankers, investors and internal decision makers. Mr. Parakh has successfully led external equity and debt funding initiatives for group companies and is closely involved in the Group's overseas business initiatives. In addition, he holds multiple directorships of Group companies and actively contributes towards the growth and expansion of these companies. Mr. Parakh has been invited as a speaker to various investor and banking conferences in the past to share his experiences on company building as well as fund raising. He is an avid traveler and dabbles in photography. He also likes to keep himself abreast of the latest technology trends in personal electronic gadgets.

With over 25 years of experience in financial services and related industries, Mr. Kumar has led Milestone’s fund raising & investor relations function since the company’s inception. He has been instrumental in raising both onshore & offshore funds and has set up the strong network of business associates (LPs) across India and offshore. In his previous assignments, he was part of the core team which launched Retail Banking in India for BNP Paribas and was also a key member of the team which set up Deutsche Asset Management business in India. He has also worked with Standard Chartered Bank across functions like Core Banking, Products, Marketing, Sales etc.

Navneet Munot is the Chief Investment officer of SBI Funds Management Private Limited. He is also the Director of SBI Funds (International) Private Ltd. As CIO, Navneet leads one of the largest investment team in India which manages assets of over Rs. 50000 crores across various asset classes.

Navneet has over 18-years experience in financial markets. Before joining SBI MF, he was executive director and Head of Multi Strategies Fund Boutique at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Investment Management, he worked as the Chief Investment Officer (Fixed Income and Hybrid Funds) of Birla Sun Life Asset Management Company Ltd. Navneet had been associated with the financial services business of the Birla group for over 13 years and worked in various areas such as fixed income, equities, foreign exchange and derivatives.

Navneet has done post-graduation in Accountancy and Business Statistics and also a rank holder Chartered Accountant. He is a charter holder of Chartered Financial Analyst Institute, US and Chartered Alternative Analyst Institute, US. He has also done FRM and is charter holder of Global Association of Risk Professional (GARP).

Navneet is an avid reader. His articles on matters related to economy and financial markets have widely been published.

Mr. Parag Shah is the Managing Partner of Mahindra Partners, the $900 Mn Private Equity division of the $16.7 Bn Mahindra Group. In a career spanning over 18 years, Parag has held various positions with the Mahindra Group. He has extensive experience in building new businesses, start ups, turn arounds, joint ventures and mergers & acquisitions.

Currently, Parag is a Director on the Boards of a number of companies of the Mahindra Group such as Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd, Mahindra Logistics Ltd, Mahindra Intertrade Ltd, Mahindra Solar, Mahindra EPC, Mahindra Retail, Mahindra Namaste.

Parag is one of the chief architects of Mahindra Partners. The Division adapts the Group’s unique strengths of constant innovation, prudence and creative business models with a mandate of incubating new ventures for the Group. Mahindra Partners accelerates value creation through a diversified portfolio of emergent businesses spanning various industry sectors like Cleantech, Logistics, Steel, Retail, Consulting, Media, Speed Boat Manufacturing, Conveyor Systems and Vocational Education.

Prior to his current assignment, Parag worked for the Office of the Vice Chairman & Managing Director, and was involved in New Business Development and strategy for the Group. He was also Chief Executive Officer of Officemartindia Ltd., a consulting & e-commerce company within the same Group. Before joining the Mahindra Group in 1999, Parag was Managing Director of Systems Marketing India Pvt. Ltd., a private business with interests in Manufacturing, Investment Banking and Trading. Parag holds a BS Degree in Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology with special electives in Psychology and Manufacturing Technology. He is also a graduate of the General Management Program from Harvard Business School.

Parag is affiliated with various prestigious NGO associations such as Sabarkanta Relief Committee and JBS Trust. He is also a Founder Director of “Executive Without Borders” a NGO based in USA.

He is an Executive Committee Member of the CII National Committee on Private Equity and Venture Capital, FICCI Solar Energy Task Force, CII National Committee on Renewable Energy. He is also a member of CEO forum & Mumbai Angels.

Parag has been recognized by Economic Times & Spencer Stuart as India’s Top 40 Business Leaders under the age of 40.

Parag has been invited as a regular speaker across various Industry forums like IFC/EMPEA, FICCI, BCCI, CII, VCCircle, Solarcon, AON Hewitt, KPMG.

Rajesh RamaiahRajesh Ramaiah is Director and CFO with the firm since October 2010.

He started his career in 1995 with Wipro Limited and has handled various functions within finance like financial planning analysis, business finance, treasury and investor relations. Later in Wipro Net and Telecom business, he worked on commercial negotiations of some of the biggest deals for Wipro. In 2002, Rajesh became CFO of Wipro’s Healthcare business unit where he led an ERP implementation, completed an acquisition and turned around the BU from the red. Rajesh soon became the CFO of the BFSI unit and grew the business from $150 million to $350 million. In his last role in Wipro, Rajesh was the treasurer and head of investor relations for Wipro Limited. He significantly over achieved on targets set for the returns on the investments and handled the IR function extremely efficiently.

Rajesh joined Reva Electric Car Company Pvt Limited as CFO in Apr 2008 and has later on taken over responsibility of IT in Sep 2008 and HR from Sep 2009. Rajesh has been instrumental in implementing the ERP in Reva, significantly improving the controllership function and streamlining processes within the HR function. Most importantly Rajesh has been instrumental in identifying a strategic partner ( M&M) for Reva and worked on the deal from start to close.

Sameer MehtaMr Mehta is the Director of Atlas Venturez (family offices) and Director of Dr Mehta’s Hospitals (leading 75+ year old healthcare provider and educator in South India). Sam is the founder of Mehta Children’s Hospitals, Atlas Advisory (enterprise accelerator), Everonn Medical Education (Health Education JV), India Home Health Care and participates on various national healthcare and education committees.

Mr Mehta brings over 2 decades of enterprise leadership, multi-national operating, project management, governance, strategic consulting, investment management and entrepreneurial experience within leading organizations like McKinsey & Company, Shell and Fortune 10 and Family Business companies across multiple sectors (healthcare, education, energy, chemicals, technology and retail) across Asia, Europe, Latin and North America. He was a former venture advisor with TVS Capital and election observer with the OSCE/UN.

Mr Mehta has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, a Masters in Manufacturing Engineering Management and Masters in Chemical Engineering. Mr Mehta is a Chartered Chemical Engineer (CEng) with the Institute of Chemical Engineers, a Professional European Engineer (EUR ING) with FEANI, a Chartered Scientist (CSci) with the Science Council, a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) with the Society for the Environment and a Sainsbury Management Fellow (SMF) with the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK. He is a TIE Charter Member and on the Executive Committee of the Chennai Angels.

Sandeep TandonSandeep Tandon is the Managing Director & CEO of Quant Capital. Sandeep has consistently demonstrated his leadership qualities in his 18 years of experience in the financial services industry. He deserves credit for pioneering derivatives in India, and being instrumental in successfully setting up an equity derivatives desk at leading brokerage houses in the country.

Before dreaming about quant capital, Sandeep was heading the derivatives team at Kotak Securities (a JV partner of Goldman Sachs in India), and during his four-year stint at the company, Kotak Securities emerged as the market leader in the institutional derivatives segment. He has been instrumental in catapulting REFCO (now MF Global) to become a major derivatives house in the country.

Sandeep’s previous stints include a key role in setting up the equity derivatives desk at ICICI Securities as vice president. He started his career with the Economic Times Research Bureau, a research wing of the leading financial daily of India, The Economic Times.

He later joined IDBI Asset Management (now Principal Asset Management), and was part of the core team that initialized asset management, playing a key role in devising, conceptualizing and marketing one of India’s most successful mutual schemes: IDBI I-NITS 95.

Satya Narayan BansalSatya is the Chief Executive Officer of the Wealth and Investment Management division of Barclays in India. He joined Barclays in 2007 and under his leadership, Barclays has become one of the leading private banks in the country. He has a deep understanding of various businesses and strong connects with business families in India and overseas. His entrepreneurial spirit and focus on execution has been instrumental in building a business, which thrives on best-in-class propositions and a robust platform.

Prior to joining Barclays, he was Head of Private Banking in the South East Asia region for ICICI Bank in Singapore. He has held a variety of roles in the banking and financial services industry for more than 20 years. He has been closely associated with the Indian equities market and has watched it evolve from the outcry system to online trading today. He was part of the core team responsible for building and growing icicidirect.com, the online trading portal for ICICI in India.

Satya started his career in Project & Corporate Finance and over time has worked in the areas of corporate finance, financial restructuring and debt markets. Satya has extensive cross-functional experience in finance, sales, marketing, product development and technology, as well as in analysing investments and markets.

Satya is a chartered member of TiE and various other angel networks and an active angel investor having helped more than 20 startups across industries both in India and overseas including social impact investing.

He is involved with various community initiatives and NGOs including the Rotary Club of Mumbai.

Satya holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Rajasthan in India and is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India (ICAI).

Shobhit MaletaShobhit Maleta heads the Real Estate Asset Management team in Knight Frank India. He has an experience of over 17 years in funds, divestments, product development and resource raising. Prior to Knight Frank, he was Vice President of Urban Infrastructure Venture Capital Ltd. (UIVCL), one of the largest real estate funds in India with an AUM of US$ 1.3bn. His earlier stints include various roles in ICICI such as Product Head – Real estate in ICICI Bank’s Global Private Clients Group, International Banking Group and Mortgage finance.

He has completed his MBA in Marketing and Finance from IMT, Ghaziabad.

Sumesh MishraMr. Sumesh Mishra, 33 years currently holds the title of Executive Vice-President (Finance) at Sunteck Realty Ltd. Mr. Mishra is a Chartered Accountant and MBA (finance) by qualification. His earlier experience included various roles in Corporates like J P Morgan, Brescon Corporate Services and Kumar Builders (KUL). He has been instrumental in fund - raising initiatives in all his previous profiles.

At Sunteck Realty, Mr. Mishra handles the Investor Relations of the listed entity and has been instrumental in roping in one of world’s biggest pension fund (Tiaa Cref) to take more than 4 % in the company. He has also bought in funds like Singapore based Tree-line capital and Stead-view Capital. He assists the team in various fund-raising initiatives of the company. Mr. Mishra is also responsible for the Sales & Marketing function at Sunteck. Sunteck Realty’s customer focus comprises of corporate employees, Business heads of Financial institutions and some of the most celebrated businessman / finance professionals of the country. He currently handles relationships with all the IPC’s (independent property consultants) and major channel partners of Mumbai market. He also helped the company raise funds by way of Debt from various financial Institutions and banks like Reliance Capital, JM Financial, Yes Bank, ICICI Bank, LIC HF, HDFC, PNB, HUDCO and others. He led the process of filing Draft Red herring prospectus (DRHP) of the Kumar Builders group and filed it in record time where he handled relationships with leading Merchant bankers, counsels and other agencies (Deal-size: Rs. 4,500 mn).

Sunil ShahAs a veteran in the Indian stock market, Sunil Shah set up Evergreen Family Business Advisors after giving up the comfort of a regular job as the Managing Director of HDFC Securities.

Evergreen helps in decision-making at family business structures, managing succession at the company level and ultimately transferring wealth from one generation to another. Launched Evergreen Family Office in 2008, before which he was Managing Director of HDFC Securities from 2002 to 2008.

From 1991 to 2001, he was Managing Director of Evergreen Research and Evergreen Broking.
